I went for my MRI scan yesterday, they sent me the scans and they're in black and white.

Black and white for f*cks sake  ###
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Maybe you are black and white on the inside, have you considered that?

@Fat Rat :shy: it would seem that I am indeed black and white on the inside due to being born in 1961 in the North of England.

@Rusty definitely 405 lines, it was high definition in those days. Emley Moor of course.  :thumb:

When my name was called I followed the nurse into the examination room where a bed was just visible behind a number of screens.
Today is the day for "a little look around" my bladder as Janice the urology specialist organised.
Another female nurse said "trousers and pants down around your ankles and lay on your back".
As I complied with the order the clattler of keys and coins reminded me I should have emptied my pockets first.
One nurse covered me with a protective layer with a large square cut out as these three ladies then stood and looked at me like cooks around a Christmas turkey. Janice the specialist said "this will sting a bit as she squirted some anaesthetic in me ( it did) swiftly followed by the camera.  When it was all over I asked them what the screens were for? "Privacy", said nurse 1.
I couldn't help laughing as I said, "But you're all here" !!!!!
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

@TLP Erm your current predicament seems to coincide with subjecting your body to the whiplash like g-forces produced by the KTM.
Just saying

To have a scan before I grow old(er) I opted to go private...
Debs mum had a cyst (didn't look good) on her head. NHS wise she had waited 4 weeks to go down 2 places in the queue! We went private, 4 days for the first appointment then another 3 days before she went in to have it removed "on the NHS"!!!! Seems there isn't a queue to get things done if you put some money up first!!

@Endintears the chance would be a fine thing ### though now I've spoken to my (private) Chiropractor, I think I'm finally starting to mend.

@Mick,this was my diagnosis from the MRI
L2-3 disc bulge with minor thecal impingement
L3-4 right paracentral protrusion with minor thecal impingement
L4-5 facet joint hypertrophy

Report: Appears to be recurrent disc protrusion or possible scarring causing local thecal impression and left exit foramen narrowing.

Hopefully I'll be able to sort it with exercise rather than surgery. Not as bad as 18 years ago. :thumb:

Before I start, I'm not totally against Elton John nor am I totally against Christmas. But what I am totally against is blatant commercialism.
It appears Mr. John has a movie & a tour coming up soon!
I hope his fee for this has gone to a charity and next year John Lewis do something more in line with the Christmas spirit. That is all.

TLP, I think we're all wearing out.
When my (late) dad had both hips replaced, we often thought it might be better all round just to be drilled and tapped, and grease nipples fitted to hips, knees etc!

@Barbel Mick, the child buying, piano bothering tw*ts fee was FIVE MILLION POUNDS.

I've a good mind to boycott the shop. ###

Thanks for the kind words and solutions chaps. :thumb:
