Would that be Cheeses of Nazareth?

My son leaves his shoes, three of four pairs in the middle of the hall so they can be more easily tripped over. He leaves towels on the bathroom floor and now I am wondering if he is a secret Muslim ......

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Whilst in the UK a few days back I went to Halfords to get some filters for car/bike. "We don't sell them off the shelf any more, didn't make enough money on them. We can order them though, Euro Car Parts in Mercer's Row (Cambridge) and add a profit on.............."

I drove round the corner and bought them direct, cheeky s*ds!   :dl_soapbox:
So how's it going so far then?

Halfrauds .... hmmm!
I remember when they had smallish shops with good quality stock for the real motor (car/bike) enthusiast. Bought a good few tools from them.... but that was 40 plus years ago. It's been downhill ever since

Halfords - Bad
Euro Car Parts - OK
Socialising / Pubs - Bad
Beer - Bad (due to effin effin moaning old git gout )
Cider 4 litres £3.98 Aldi / Lidll etc - Good (Gout hasn't discovered cider yet)
Being a misanthrope, no need to socialise - Good
I wouldn't care to be a member of any club that would accept me as a member....Marx (Groucho not Karl)

lol Yes Tusker, nurse a single pint of guinness all afternoon, on a table away from the socialising buggers. Just stare across the room scowling occasionally. Very money-saving!

Real men, such as Essex folk, drink lager, and have crisps with a pickled egg dropped in.
All this pork scratching and deep fried mars bars is a but too Mick Jagger for our tastes...
