Yes indeed it was, with a pleasant young actress. Who was a day hand with a bow and arrow.

That makes more sense.

The latest ailment - high pressure in my balls... Sadly, at the RVI Eye Hospital yesterday I've tested 'high' in my peepers for three consecutive years and I'm now on drops for the rest of my life (hopefully a lot of drops). Another medicine to remember, thankfully at bedtime with a drop in each eye. Bugger, at least it's not Glaucoma related.

Glad it's not that. but a "like" doesn't feel appropriate.

@2112, welcome to the club.
There have been supply chain issues with the required drops (as with many other meds, sadly) so be sure to always have a full unopened bottle in reserve.

2112 I think you'll find that ocular hypertension is one reason that drops are given to avoid certain eye conditions and glaucoma is the most serious of them. Happily you've been caught..........  :icon_wink:
So how's it going so far then?

Yes, the system seems to have been thorough. I was given enough time for it to be a 'one off' and tested often enough for it to be a noticeable increase. Can't fault the NHS really  :thumb:

I have noticed that a lot of gunk & sludge needs to be cleared from my peepers first thing of a morning now ? I did read it was a likely side effect & seems to be the only one. In rare cases your eyes can go darker after a period of a few months. That'll make getting back into the USA on holiday interesting!

I did notice virtually ALL the nurses at the RVI over 30 were, well, on the 'chunky' side of healthy. Just an observation...

How is it that I woke up this morning with a virus and I feel like poo on a stick when I've not been out of the house since last Saturday. Does it take Five days to show up. Well I did have some Chicken on Tuesday so I hope it's not bird flu. On the bright side I've never seen any bats around here.

....and the lid of your coffin.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I did a Covid test.
It was negative.
I see the test kit is actually made in China.
Somehow that seem s wrong.

Yesterday I thought the virus was on the way out and I was  then when I  :dl_ninite: It came back and  :violence-smack: and I was like  :icon_exclaim: and it was like :violence-smack: :violence-smack: Non stop coughing and choking unless I sat upright in a chair. Went to shop and bought cough and decongestant medicines and hoping the virus will :dl_help: so I can be more like  :auto-dirtbike: before the weather is  :rain: :rain: :rain:

Punctures, damn things, fact of life etc. It's even worse when it's in the 'no repair zone' and it's £151 for a new one (car, ouch...). But, my local tyre company (Stakeford Tyres, highly recommended) sent my tyre off for a 'major repair' and it came back patched up and ready to go back on the car if I get another puncture or wear or I just fancy a change. All for only £18, I wonder how many other tyre outlets actually suggest this ? So, a moan and a win !

AI huh! should stand for Annoying Intervention. My Laundry drying machine will not accept my wet towels, just used after a shower, are wet enough and so after a "wetness check" the bloody thing stops. The Wetness check ( they call it analysis- Bloody poncy Germans!) takes three minutes and no heat is applied. The machine stops and emits an alarm and then restarts for 30 seconds every 3 minutes to ensure there are no creases in whatever it thinks is in the machine. Meanwhile I still have have wet towels. Intelligent my arse. Next one I buy must a button on it to over ride it's circuitry and the button will be marked "do as your bloody told".  Now I have to hang the towels on the bathroom radiator.
