I was right on the insurance. Bikesure can't contact Bikesure to ask Bikesure if Bikesure know if I was insured by Bikesure last year  :dl_smiley_banghead:

Nettles and Thistles, what is the f*ckin' point? B*stard council have let them grow above waist height, I take Bucket for a walk and get well and truly stung. Admittedly I was wearing shorts (like a postman does)but it still shouldn't be allowed. To top those stingers off, I do a bit of welding (still in shorts) and f*cking sparklers have gone inside my riggers and burnt between my toes. :dl_soapbox: ###
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Puddles in London...! Slight bit of rain last night and the entire place shuts down. You'd think London would be better prepared for a bit of drizzle. Good job they don't get Yorkshire rain down south...

A bit of rain shouldn't worry 'em, their golden pavements won't rust will they?

Snetterton BSB. Not going. It's only up the road from me but as great as the track is to ride on the viewing areas are for the most part too far away from the action. Nowhere near as good as Donnington Park or Brands Hatch.

So I'm watching it on my PC via Eurosport Player. It's the same picture that I'd get on TV but I won't have sky due to their abysmal customer care with is more like " nothing is our fault so switch it off and then on again". W**kers.

BSB TV then why oh! why oh! why do they play sounds ( I hate to call it music) when they are giving the race results? Surely what the announcer ( Barnacle Bill) is saying is worth listening to or it isn't in which case tell him to shut up.

And then when the action is hotting up the camera cuts away to look at the crowd or the pit crew so we miss what is going on, on the track.

Bikesure. Gave me a fair quote and then I got into their on-line stuff. OMG

So there's a form asking me about bike modifications.

Is the engine modified? there is no "yes" or "No" to click on but a "cross" or a "tick".

Does cross mean yes it's modified or no it hasn't been?

Ha Ha Ha.

It doesn't matter as whatever I click on takes me to the same page asking questions about the engine modifications and you can't leave the boxes blank.
Same for Air intake and exhausts and wheels and suspension and frame etc and et bloody cetera.

I ring them

The girl says it must be MY COMPUTER as there have been no IT issues reported to them.

YES I AM REPORTING AN I.T. ISSUE.

Then girl says " if you can't manage the on-line forms we can send paper ones"

I try to keep calm and explain I use internet banking and internet shopping and internet car and house insurance so I am not incapable of using a PC.

"So I send you the forms in the post then shall I?"

"Are you going to report my complaint to your I.T. desk?"

"There have been no reports of I.T. problems"

I hung up before before I said something criminal

But then four days later I tried again only to find the same problem with their on-line forms and again I phoned and spoke a different person ( girl) but sadly the conversation was almost identical.

Customer care is obviously an illusion here.

I dread to think how I'll be treated should I need to claim.

Nancy boys playing bat and ball games instead of BSB on one eurosport channel and mouth breathing tosspots on the other.

BSB is on Quest Brockett.

Being just over the hill (story of my life) I can't get Quest as it's on Freeview and I only have Freesat.   My "up the tree aerial" via which I can pick up Freeview, is a great perch for the local yobs a.k.a. Gulls whose weight has so far overwhelmed all attempts to secure the aerial to the pole that it strapped to the tree.

There are too many Z List TV Programs that are named after their Z List Presenters.
    James Nesbitt's Ireland
    Cornwall with Caroline Quentin
    Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans
Man & Beast with Martin Clunes
    Masterpiece with Alan Titchmarsh
Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green
    Backshall's Deadly Adventures

If the program is that crap that you need to try and attract some viewers by throwing a Celeb's name into the program title, then it probably isn't worth watching in the first place.

Having said that, I have watched two of them  :shy:  :)

For some reason I read that as 'extreme fisting' with Robson Green.

Still not sure I'd watch that though....

I have just made my 1,000th post!  :ty:

Not being an expert, I find myself wondering if there is any form of the above which is not extreme?

No one would watch if it was merely described as "mundane fishing with John Prescott..."

Anyone know why car drivers feel the need to swerve from the outside lane to take exit slips at the last minute? Saw half a dozen cars do this on the M1 this evening. Also had some dopey moo swerve in front of me, inbetween me and the car in front, before jamming the anchors on and sitting there. Turns out she wanted to get to the inside lane which was leaving the motorway but waited until the last moment before doing so. Also annoying that there was no one behind me and she could have just pulled in there  :GRR:

This annoys me more than anything else on the road too... I'm on the Edinburgh City Bypass most days of the week and the ar$eholes that do just that right in front of me is getting out of hand  :icon_batterup: At all the upcoming exits I've now taken to closing up to within inches of the arse of the vehicle in front of me to stop it happening and if I can time it right it makes Mr Impatient miss his exit which always makes me feel a whole lot better
