Yesterday ........
I knew the rear tyre was getting a little squared off, but was hoping it might have lasted for the few rides I might get in over winter, but in the last 3/400 miles it seems to have done quite badly.
A few phone calls at the start of the week & only found one local place that could get my preferred tyre (Conti Trail Attack 3's) in before Christmas. It would cost me £30 more for the pair than one quote, but needs must!

Bloody cold ride there, but the free coffee & biscuits, while I waited, sorted that out.
I also asked them to have a look at the rear brake pads while it was on the ramp ....... I had them changed while it was there. Saves an old man crawling about on the garage floor in the cold.
Thanks to Powerslide, Derby. Great, friendly lads. Maybe a little more expensive than other local garages, but they got the job done.

A few photos to prove it happened ......
