Cross Threading ( something I don't like to mention on a bike forum , but Ho Hum ) I plan not to retire.
I like my job  and now work flexi time , can even do a 4 day week.
And the idea of getting my pension on top of my wages gives me a warm fuzzy........
Like today...to get back to bikes.

Sloped of midday to service the rear caliper and replace the pads , not looking too shabby in there for 3 winters worth of salt and 45,000 ish miles.
The benefits of regular maintenance.......even if I do rarely wash it ... :icon_wink:

Out for a few hours today so the missus could road test a 450 Himalayan and see if it's quick enough to be an only bike.
Her 411 Himalayan is a tad steady for touring and the 750GS has never quite been the revelation it was supposed to be.
Good report, very nimble and fun whilst being just about quick enough and we know it's good on light off road duty.
Something to ponder over the winter period, now to the hot tub to try and thaw out, it was chilly in them there hills today.

Checked her over, charged the battery up and tucked her away until the New Year.

I’m hoping to get out on her as soon as possible in 2026……

@Rixington43 - I'd strongly suggest that your other half test rides CFMoto's 450MT, very impressive for a 'tiddler', my brother loves his.

Get down to Smalley Cross, they have a demo - they're also an RE dealer.
