I ordered some electronicary from Tesco Direct, I did it using their 'Click & Collect' service. So, I clicked, chose my local shop (paid in advance

) and then the following day went to the shop to collect

except, 'sorry sir, your item hasn't arrived'

'but, we do have them in stock'

I did ask why the item was being shipped in from elsewhere when they already had them in stock

Anyhoo, no big deal, give me my stuff!
I was told it wasn't that simple, I'd have to call Customer Services to cancel my order first. The look on my face clearly communicated to the the woman that she should make the call, which she did. She then tells me that my payment would be refunded within five days and that if I wanted to take one from stock I'd have to pay again.
It's nonsensical situations like this that is the true definition of stress for me, it's when something that should be sooo simple and should result in a satisfied customer turns into a complete feck up and makes me want to punch someone

Needless to say, Tesco still have the same amount of stock of that item, I doubt the 16 year old Manager took my advice on where he should stick it though.
