I have been riding for ever in fact my mates ask me how difficult it was to get my bike off Noah's Ark when the floods went down....................that's why when tossers in bike showrooms say to me "you had better be careful modern bikes can get you into trouble not like the stuff you use to ride..........I have seen loads of people like you fall off why don't you have a look at our range of scooters... " I want to stick their head up their a#se.

Also I hate being called pal!!!

How about a geo-location signal in your glasses so you can find where you left them using an app on your smart phone?

OK, who's the smart one here, you (look in the next room) or the app provider/optician (come fill my coffers please you with too much money to care)) ?

If you could ring the glasses from a land line or the wifes mobile you could cut out the middle bit.

I have a cunning plan. I've recorded the dogs squeaky ball and use it as a ring tone. Why find the phone yourself when mans best friend can do it

I received a message today from somebody telling me they were 'out of store'.

I checked the ARGOS website for "in store" availability.
According to them my nearest store is 3 miles away in Felixstowe.

However they omitted to include the information needed to cross the Stour Estuary

(it's 36 miles by road)
Despite there being an ARGOS store about a kilometre away which ARGOS insisted does not exist and so refused to "check for stock".

I just listened to the new ELO album - I quite like it.

However, less than 33 minutes long??? Means the CD is less than half full. I see there is already a deluxe version with extra tracks.

In my day we had to cram an album onto one side of a C90 (cassette, not Honda).

I do enjoy his solo offering from the other year, Long Road or summat. That's quite brief as well....

Being a lifelong ELO fan I paid the extra for the 'deluxe version' of Alone in the Universe - 2 extra tracks...Grand total - 37 minutes 17 seconds...

I mean, I like it and I know he tends to write short pop songs - but come on Jeff, you can do better than that mate!

...still, it's better than nowt - and if he's recording again there may be more to come...(hopefully)

Interesting to see that using lane 1 on dual carriageways and motorways was banned during Christmas. Applied to lane 2 as well on 4 lane sections.

All traffic laws except speeding were abolished when they replaced plod with the tax daleks. Feel free to text, eat, do your hair, snort coke, have sex, do shots, read your book, watch a film etc. In any lane you like, just do it at under 76 mph.
