I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but I can't be arsed to go through 86 pages of posts to find out... (so we're off to a good start

)
Something which continually annoys me is the blatant piss-taking these cosmetics/ toiletries companies carry on with 'clinically proven' and 80% 'approved' adverts for all manner of shit designed to pretty up, scrape off, cover up or de-flock some crevice or other, who are now required to show their respective polling results.
These companies will have spent
millions of pounds on researching how best to sell this shit to us (not to mention the costs of advertising space) but only ask 68 people whether they think it's any bloody good or not. I mean wtf kind of market research is that? I can't be sure but I think that one of them was in the high twenties (like 78% of 28 people!

)
Personally, I think that the amount of people they should be required to ask reflects the true the amount of money spent on advertising the damn thing, as they wouldn't spend that kind of dosh unless they were pretty sure they could make it back.
That's it for now - there's plenty more but I'm saving it for later
