My rant about clothing isn't the lack of bigger sizes (getting older is no excuse for getting fatter) but the habit of discontinuing a certain model of whatever the product is.

You can't then just buy the same again, even though you were perfectly happen with it last time round and used it till it wore out naturally. For some reason boots seem especially prone to being discontinued.

It's not a question of head getting bigger just that they seem to stop at 2 or 3 XL ime a 4 and yes I may have put on a couple pounds since leaving the military but at between 17 and 18 stone and at over 6ft 6 inches tall I have enough problem s getting a bike to suit my size let alone the clothing didn't have these issues when it came to throwing me out of a door on a perfectly serviceable aircraft :icon_exclaim:

I had a moan to Revit that they now only made clothes for skinny boys and they responded by saying their sizes went up to 52. Yeah 52 little centimeters  ###
JTS biker wear were my next choice.

Nowt up wi' parsnips.

I do have a moan though....

Horse boxes.

WTF do they have to have to display "Horses" on them. It's a f*cking horse box, it looks like a horse box, it's travelling at 12 mph belching out barely combusted gas oil (red diesel). It has hay in nets on the side, it has silly doors, it has crossply tyres of  dubious vintage and even more dubious legality. I can see it's a horse box yet you see fit to display Horses on every possible surface. What else looks like the lumbering pile of cack?

Motorhome? No, it has more windows.

Ice cream van? No, it has pictures of ice creams and lolly's on it.

Fire engine? No, it goes faster and it's usually red and it has a purpose.

Ambulance? No, it has blue lights and reflective stickers on it.

The only thing I may confuse it with is a prisoner transport vehicle, perhaps they should be emblazened with "Crims" on the side to avoid any possible confusion on my behalf.

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Why oh why do film makers insist on making actors drink from empty coffee cups? The dead giveaway is the hollow thud when they put them down

The words "Horse Box" are writ large for the education of the terminally stupid average motorist.
My recent excursions onto the highway reveal a new form of idiocy. It seems that most motorists will only be happy driving in the outside lane of a dual carriageway at 40 to 50 mph in a half mile queue while the inside lane is completely empty. Having indulged in a wee bit of inside overtaking I work my way to the front to find Mr Knobhead in a Qashqai  or similar overfed saloon, oblivious to time, space or position. My right thumb twitches unconsciously searching for the trigger of the bazooka my imagination has installed on my handlebars.

Not just Horse Boxes either, some people seem to think that having a "Grandchildren on Board" sign obscuring their view out their own window is going to make it more likely that I will come roaring up behind, see the sign, and decide not to smack into the vehicle in front at some alarming speed.

If they didn't have such a sign I would obviously have kept going and rammed them off the road.

You can substitute Grandchildren for Labrador, Princess and many other words that will still result in a pointless sign.

Perhaps if you want to win a Banger Car Race you should fit a sign saying "Faberge Egg on Board".

I'll try to restore the quality of moaning, this in my mind is moaning without necessity !!!! OK here we go,, we have a local vendor of fine wines spirits and beer. They do a great job of providing the locals with many fine varieties and they do it cheaply. But, they have just put a 4 pack of 13.5% extra Original Guinness up by 40p per pack !!!! a whole 10p per can....   Its a travesty !!!! this could cost me, a retired person, £2.80 per week .... Bastards ....

My gripe is my morning commute while threading my way past the knobs in their metal boxes the smell of weed is overpowering and it's not even 08.00 they must go to work stunned what the hell are their employers doing they must stink of this S### .

Also I go down the dual carriage past Haslingden it narrows to single lane the amount of blackheads who try following me on my bike and nearly colliding with other road users they must be on drugs :angry-banghead:

OK, here's one which has wound me up completely recently* ...

Whenever I search for anything on Google now, less than 1/4 of the relevant sites appear on the first or second pages, as there is soooooo much effing spam (sorry, 'sponsored advertizing...') that any vaguely involved search now takes forever, :dl_smiley_banghead: and I'm constantly being told that I have to look at 'this site' because 'Seriously, we have XXXX here'  or 'Buy XXXX Here - Seriously, We Have Everything'.... (no you don't!, Seriously, stop f***ing SAYING THAT!)

...but, irritatingly, some smartarse has cottoned onto the fact that you can put stuff like 'shit for brains' up to make the search briefly amusing, so, now when you put any obscenity in the box, the e-Bays and Amazons suddenly disappear, which means they DON'T have EVERYTHING !! and are, in fact, effing lying!  ### :icon_batterup: I swear, it never used to be that difficult, it's just that slowly, bit by bit, the advertising is taking over everything...facts don't seem to matter and no-one gives a toss as long as you click on their site. :icon_no: and I'm not even going near the subject of clickbait, I've got work in the morning and I need to retain some semblance of a game face...

*(...mostly the number of f***s I give about that lie somewhere between 0 and -1 but I had to spend 2 days sat in front of the PC at work finding over 70 different links for miscellaneous crap for another wellsite job which may never happen, and I've still got to buy the bloody stuff but someone's playing silly buggers, so I can't until I get the go-ahead...grrrrr!....)
