Had a Hyperpro spring fitted to the rear shock of my lowered Glee.  Has made a huge difference, rear much more planted and not as much static sag.  Can't comment on 2 up but expecting good things!

Fitted a set of CNC brake and clutch levers, they have truly transformed my control of the bike I have small hands and the levers have 6 positions, the clutch is now so much easier than simply on/off from the standard one, well impressed for £14.50 delivered in black.

Ordered a Hepco & Becker railing for my top box today so I can carry some lighter stuff on top of it, I'm hoping the OEM top box is a Hepco & Becker Journey LC 42.

Looks right, iirc it says on the underside of the lid what model it is. Where'd you get the rack?

Got my new rear tyre fitted, and took opportunity to give the rear end and underside a clean while the wheel was off.

Will add puncturesafe tomorrow and can then ride off into the sunset / light drizzle.

Checked out the Klim riding gear at Adventure Bike Warehouse, Manchester, Chris was very helpful, spent ages trying stuff on, got a cup of tea, bumped into a member king1.

Fixed the heated (indicator) mirrors  :lala:- broken solder joint on one of the cables - simple job but had me worried, as the cables were forced through the channels cut for the indicator cables and were a complete PITA to do, so I wasn't looking forward to repeating the experience :).

Also tried fixing the custom (I.e. bodged) heated apparel control unit, but I'm completely stumped (question opened on another thread).  I'm getting 12V throughout the system from source to end connector, but they're less than half as hot as they should be...

Only the Scottoiler touring tank to fix and I'm sorted for winter.

Looking like my plans to buy a Veek have been scuppered for the time being by the keen eye of the soon-to-be-ex-wife's lawyer...so, it looks like I will have to hang on to the wee a while longer. With this in mind I have refitted some of the bits I removed when I thought the wee was going. Back on are the tuono mirrors, hyperpro springs and rear suspension lift kit.

Can't you spend all your cash on a Veek then you are too skint to give the mrs anything in the divorce?

Dropped it. Fortunately stationary at the time, but took 10 mins to find someone to help me pick her up. Indicator lens and clutch lever bust but as I held on and put her down fairly gently that seems to be all.  ### ###

Took her up over the 10k miles mark. Loved every mile too.
