FAQs  NEWS: Camping Cabins available!

Hopefully this section covers everything you need to know, if not, please ask questions in the Forums or contact us HERE When is the meet, when should I arrive and/or leave? A: 24th - 27th August. Arrive and leave whenever you like Where are you located? A: See HERE What does it cost? A: We ask for £20 per head, for this we will feed you each day, lay on the Portaloos, hire the outdoor furniture and pay for the Band. This is £20 for the whole weekend (it’s the same price if you stay one night or three, too complicated otherwise)! How do I pay? A: See HERE If I change my mind or cannot attend can I get a refund? A: Unfortunately not, we will buy food based on the number of people who sign up, if you don’t show the food etc. will still have been bought. Can you cater for a special diet? A: Let us know at the time of booking and I’m sure we can find a lettuce leaf or two :0) What happens at a meet like this? A: It’s really laid back with a great bunch of people. Some arrange rides and disappear for most of the day, others lounge around and talk pish. In the evenings the Campfires are lit and more pish is spoken. There is a spectacular £21.00 Argos Stereo system to keep you amused until the Band turn up on the Saturday night. Here are some photos from previous years http://www.flickr.com/photos/robharte/sets/72157624724636913/ Is the meet suitable for kids? A: If you are happy to supervise them ,we are happy to have them here. What facilities do you have there? A: You will be camping in a three acre field which is part of our smallholding, there is electricity, water, Showers, Toilets (plus Portaloos if needed) and WiFi in the field (bring your own toiletries and towels). Can I bring my dog? A: We keep animals here (including dogs), if your pet behaves well around crowds of people and other animals (and you supervise them at all times) then that’s fine. Can I attend in a Car/Caravan/Motorhome? A: Yes, if you are in a Caravan or Motorhome and you want Electric Hook up then we will ask you to pay extra for that (£5 per night). What are the rules around Smoking? Well, if you really have to, feel free in the field and in your own Tent, but please not in the Marquee or the Shower Room or Loos. Can I bring a stove/BBQ/Gazebo/Inflatable Woman A: No problem, the only open fires should be in the fire pits that we will provide as we don’t want scorch marks all over the field. Are there any B&Bs locally? A: You can try HERE, HERE or HERE Is there a Supermarket nearby? A: Not really, but there is a reasonable sized convenience shop two miles away that sells Booze and other essentials. I have read that there will be an All year Biker type cleaning/ACF-50 service available at the meet? A: We have tried and failed each year to get commitment from these people, I have given up.
