Nice quality video, looks really sharp through the screen   :thumb:
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'

Nice quality video. I've just typed muvi into Amazon and seen that there are a few different models, vrc 003 - 005. If you don't mind me asking which one are you using?

I think it is this this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Veho-VCC-003-Mu ... pd_cp_ce_0

I have had it a couple of years now and they didn't have the model numbers at the time.  It needs a micro SD card as well, but make sure you get class 6 or above so it can cope.

Its not the best quality images or sound by some way, but as a cheap and small camera it works okay and is manageable file size so you can shoot lots of footage and edit it down without worrying about file size too much.

You can get something off ebay which is very similar (identical in appearance) for much less, and I had one of those as well - I think it was about £12 but search under 'spy camera' rather than 'camcorders' and you can probably find them.   The cheap one has similar quality images but they tend to have a permanent date stamp (which is fiddly to set and you can't get rid of it).  Also the case of the cheaper ones is plastic rather than aluminium, and the controls are not as user friendly.  Much cheaper though !

I also got the sports pack for mounting it:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/VEHO-GADGETS-EX ... 150&sr=8-2
BUT, I have to say it was a lot cheaper then, and its pretty appalling value to be honest.  I mounted the camera on the chin bar of the helmet, and used a strap from this kit, but a reckon any sort of velcro strap would do the same job for a lot less.

Thanks for the info Stromnoff. I'll be putting one of them into my basket.  :auto-dirtbike:

I've had the same one for some time.  Doesn't want to start recording if I press the button, but will if I set it to VOX (record when it detects noise above 65db.)  trouble is, must NOT switch off with power button as it doesn't write anything to the card.

Went all round Scotland two weeks ago and have ZERO footage.   ###

Will try and dig up footage from 10 years ago with my trusty JVC DVL9000 gallantly (foolishly?)  held in one hand whilst riding around the utterly beautiful Banks Peninsula East of Christchurch New Zealand.
