textile kit for long skinny riders:)

I ve searched the forum and the only thing I found was monsoon richa trousers. I don't know if its only my problem but I M 6'6 tall and quite skinny. Finding a kit is a nightmare. Especially trousers. I know richa makes extra long trousers but are there any other brands with a line of clothing for 'different' built riders?

Yeah, being at the end of the size spectrum is a pain in the arse.

I'm at the other end....ie short and fat. Had to travel 130 miles to find a store with stock I could try on (I tried 15 stores before that). J&S Accessories sorted me out and I'm happy. They had loads of stock, all sorts of sizes.
I had a choice of about 5 jackets and sadly only three trousers (whaddaya mean a 29" leg, 52" chest and xxxxxxxl waist are not a common size?  You saying I'm not common? ).

I was so chuffed I bought two jackets (1 ISX, 1 J&S K2), a pair of IXS trousers and Furygan gloves for the missus (had to keep her busy while I was at the till).

Thanks for the info Abercol. I am quite lucky coz I found two J&S stores in my area so tomorrow morning before work ill check it out. I am used to it now. It's always a problem with trousers for me. Long legs:(

Have a look at the RST stuff, I recently (about 2 months ago) bought the RST Paragon II jacket (with the fluorescent inserts) and trousers. They are warm, comfy, you feelwell protected and COMPLETELY waterproof. I'm out in all weathers every day and for the price they are top notch (I searched for months then happened to stumble upon them at the Mindlands Superbike Centre on a ride out one day.)

ThAnks for the info. I went to J&S this morning and tried few things on. The didn't have any RST stuff so I ll have to try somewhere else coz I really like the RST kit. The only thing the had was extra long furygan trousers:( nightmare being tall:)

was that midlands superbike centre,market harborough? where you got your rst stuff? if yes I assume you are aware they have had a bit of trouble of late,looked like they fitted well when I saw you on the m40 the other day,no flapping or billowing,how long have you had it and is it still water proof?also do the jeans zip to the jacket keeping the gap wind proof,thanks

Yep, in Market Harborough. Got them about two months ago, they fit snug, but I haven't ever removed the termal linings. They have a zip that goes around about three quaters of the way, from the front of your right hip all around the back to the front of the left hip. It also has a drawstring on each side so you can pull it in so keep wind out, but I have never needed to do this. They are completely waterproof, I've only ever had some water ingress once (literally a damp patch about 10cm accross after 1.5 hours in the rain) onto my stomach and then I realised that the jacket had folder up on the front when I mounted to bike. Now I just make sure that it hasn't folded up on me after I got on and I've not had a problem since. I have the regular leg length on the trousers and they are long enough not to ride up on your boots. One thing to mention is that the jacket has 2 zips on the front, one is a normal fine zip and the other is a special sealed type zip to keep water out.

Have you tried Hein Gericke. coz I struggle to get them in 29" leg. I think they start at 32" upwards
