Get it Vulcanised,

very few tyre companies will do this, but some do.
Large rubber patch bonded on inside with a combination of Glue/Heat/preasure.
I had this done in Turkey about 8 at night, cost £10 (great exchange rates) took the bloke a couple of hours,
his brother ran the Hotel down the road in Kirkarelli excellent night out on the Rakki,
The trye got me all round europe and only changed for a new one ,when I set of this year to Austria.
After the repair I travelled about 6/7000 miles without a problem.

I personally will have this done again, without any hesitation.

Try not to ride in the cross hatchings in middle of the road on the approach centre islands, the nail fairy comes out at night and wreaks havoc! Fallen foul of this a couple of times in the past, if it looks really shitty and dirty, stay clear.  No easy fix really other than what's been muted here.
If you use the bike for commuting it's likely you'll collect a few punctures along the way unfortunately. I've used various pre puncture solutions in the past including, gloop, etc and they are a real pain in the backside for the tyre fitter when the tyre comes off for a proper fix or change of rubber due to the mess they make. It's all going to be about what works for you and what you're happy with.

The fairy has just got me. A nice big screw smack bang in the middle of the rear tyre which has only done 3000 miles. Looks like a trip to National Tyres tomorrow to see if they can repair it.  :angry-tappingfoot:

Same today with mine! Only 1900 miles. The AA man came out, air in tyre, quick ride to West London Suzuki. £40 later and while I waited with two cups of great drinking choc one fixed tyre! All in under 2 hours.
