Recent ride out with the club
« on: August 20, 2010, 15:03:00 »
Ride up to Builth Wells with SAM.  Link below.

Let me know what you think, good or bad.  I am getting better at making videos.  Got a club ride up the Digby RAF base this sunday.  Got 2 batteries for camcorder and plenty of tapes.  Swivel mount will be used to get more POV's.

The video's great! Hardly any wind at all. What camera are you using? It looks like you can mount it anywhere!

Great video, looks like quite a ride.  The fisheye effect of the lens was a little strange at first but it worked well for giving a bit more of a view around you.

How was the Little Chef? I don't imagine Heston Blumenthal was behind the counter!

Sorry for the delay in the response.  Have been busy getting house ready for newborn.  Yes the little chef was nice.  Knew what to expect.  "Fat duck" heston was not around.  Must of nipped out for a bit.  Had fish and chips, but the first one exploded, so had to wait for another one.  While waiting, I could see the rest of the group getting burger kings and taking them outside.  Had to wolf food done speedy like as I knew they were almost finished.

Doing videos all the time.  Will put links up when I can.

Great video, and what looks to me like nice riding,(I've only just passed my test, thinking of V-Strom as first bike).

Keep the vids coming.

Cheers.
Wee owner, but never ridden one in the outside lane of the motorway yet!!

to be honest it started to make me feel sick with the camera moving all the time as it was fixed to your helmet. A fixed camera would be better I think. You don't realise how much you move your head until you look at videos like that. Nice ride though.

I quite liked it, as it showed the rider doing all his observations and lifesavers.

Cheers.

For everyones information, I was using a dogcam 520 bullet camera, linked up to a canon mv550i.  Uploaded lots of other videos, due to being signed off work.
