We've got about 800000000 members now and only 85 posts on Introductions. Come on people, don't be shy! It'll be nice if your profile tells us where you're from as well, unless your criminal underworld activities means you can't tell without killing us all.....
No bike at present.......

hi,
just taken delivery of my v Strom 1000, looks fantastic and though early days she handles brilliantly. I can't wait to get some serious miles on the clock.

Hi all

Been a biker for 45 years. I live in Jersey channel island normally get over to France 3 times a year for a blast on my VRF750. done 60000miles now. I also have a DL1000 in Australia! I retired 2006 and treated myself to the dual purpose suzi. I have done 2 longish holidays on it and covered 40000 kms on the 2 trips, so I know it pretty well.

Too heavy when all the tent etc on it and a bit high but a great bike for covering the distances out there. I am off again in a month and looking to try to sort out the screen problem as most people seem to do. Options are pricey tried the spacer idea but in the end removed the screen and posted it back to base from the middle of the outback!

Madstad seems the way to go at least to start.
