Got rid of the Tourances!!
Anakee 2's on now, and all is well again in the world!! Feel great, great grip, and hoorah no bloody wobble!!
Sorry blokes for those who like the tourances, but in my experience they are not for the Strom 1000.

I've jumped ship from tourrances to anakees after the tourrance customer service post.
Glad I did now the anakees hold the road so much better and have made the bike a lot more fun on the twisties knowing I can deck the pegs without it slipping.

I have the Anakees up as the next tyres I want to try after the Maxxis pair I have in the garage, good to hear more positive feedback on them.

I love my tourances. Rear is wrecked now (I noticed this morning, leaving for work)
It's done over 8000 hard miles, mostly on road, some (not as much as I'd like) offroad, and has had a puncture repair since the week I got it. Decked my peg on a roundabout on the way home tonight on it still.

New Tourance rear fitted on Saturday, yeeeehaaa!

Enjoy your anakee's, trail attacks or whatever tyre you get on with, if you like it , great, that is ALL that matters. It's easy to think the grass is greener etc. but for me, the Tourance performs better than I can.

Oh you, new Tourance rear fitted, all that lovely tread. I think tomorrow I might get up early and get some of those wee knobbly bits off, while the roads are nice and dry.
