Running in please pass

Hi to all, another old newy, bought my black DL1000GT on the 1st of Sept and set off on a run with my mate (on his GS1150), this was on the 4th Sept and as we now know probably the worst weather for a weekend for 50 years. Anyway 1500 miles later, (Isle of Wight to Swiss/German border and back), I think that was it just about run in!
The only problem I had was waiting for the GS to catch up and that was keeping the revs down to under 4000rpm.
I used to love my Daytona 675, but this is the bike for me!! :)))
