Hi, New to forum and also a 2018 Suzuki V Strom abs  1000.
Completely new to Suzuki as always had triumphs.
I bought the bike recently and previous owner had only 1 key.
Does this bike have a immobilizer and would it be quite straightforward to go to a dealers and get a replacement, I have a number stamped on the key he supplied me with.
Many thanks for anticipated responses.

Yes the bike will have an immobiliser. A dealer should be able to get a replacement, just be sat down when they tell you the price...

Great bike Deckchair, I have the same bike but 2014. I think (as said already) you won't have a problem getting a key for your bike but if you have a rich member of your family, request one as a Christmas present  lol.

I have an aftermarket silencer that will fit your bike. The carbon look on it is just starting to flake a little but in my opinion it still looks good and it sounds great. If you are interested then send me a pm with your phone number and I will sent pictures and a film of it on my bike running by Watsap.

I replaced it because one of the kind members on this site sold me a Yoshimura at a price I couldn't refuse. If you want the silencer it is yours if you pay the postage, maybe £10, I'm not sure. Anyway, enjoy your bike.  :auto-dirtbike: :thumb:
