Hello, is there anybody in there?
« on: November 21, 2025, 16:22:50 »
Welp, New member here. I suppose I should introduce myself...

Male...
Gen-X...
Enjoys long walks on the beach...

Errr... No... Hold on... Wrong forums!

Still male and Gen-X but into bikes.
Location: West Yorkshire

Spent pretty much all my life into bikes, learned to ride about 10yo on a Yamaha TY80. Had various bikes over the years (non legal) until I was 49, where I thought "If I don't do it now, I never will!" So went out and did my DA and bought an old school superbike (like you do)!
Which brings me onto the bikes I own...

1998 Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace (the bike hinted at above).
2017 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom (the reason I'm here).
2003 Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa (which I won from RevComps (would you believe?)).

I don't tend to speed, but anyone that's seen me join a Motorway will know I like my acceleration  :auto-dirtbike: lol and filtering is one of lifes great joys!

I shall supply photos if anyone is interested and if I can get my Donkey in gear in this cold weather!!!

Anything else anyone wants to know?
Confused as hell, but at least I know which end of a spanner to hit a nut with!

This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.
