That's impressive! I'd love to do one of those trips, but our lass would definitely not be so enthusiastic (also I don't think one of those bikes would take the both of us...).
Is it crass to ask how much it cost and how many days it was over?
Confused as hell, but at least I know which end of a spanner to hit a nut with!

Just heard from Phil.
They have got back to Katmamdu and they have Returned the bikes.
He has text saying 600 miles on roads and tracks, I can’t explain ….what a trip.          Phil’s words.

This has been a life changing trip with amazing people, and now I’m a proper motorcyclist been and done some of the toughest roads in the world 🌍
Cost about 5K total including all hotels and food.
Mongolia in 2027 if anyone is interested…….

I very much admire that they had such an adventure, I'm not jealous because I just couldn't sum up the courage (or budget) but they have my respect and I'm in awe when I see those pictures.
Many thanks again for sharing ASmith61.

It's been an epic adventure. I hope they haven't got to clean the bikes afterwards...

Asmith61 No, I'm new on here, just started looking around...

£5k doesn't sound bad considering the experience and length of trip!

Snakebite…… no it doesn’t sound that bad, and to be honest in his eyes and all of the group it was money well spent  :thumb:

Nice bikes you have there  :thumb:…….. If you get time post some pictures of them, either in pictures or show us your bike.

Phil has sent some pictures that his brother Brian had taken on the trip, and he took a video of just how busy Katmamdu actually was. ( I took screen shots from the video, you may notice the riders were wearing Helmets but there Pillions weren’t )
