Scotland and Back
« on: October 19, 2025, 13:25:01 »
I have been looking for a opportunity to visit the Isle of Mull in Argyll for the last couple of years.

I know the island well, as it is where my grandparents lived and are now buried and I love to visit every couple of years.

However, the weather in 2024 was not conducive to a weeks camping and this year has just been too busy, until I spotted the forecast for this month (October) and pounced on my chance to visit.

I did the whole trip in just over 51 hours, riding up overnight, spending a day on Mull and then the next day returning home, 1223 miles in total.

I have never visited Scotland in October, but I will definitely do it again, next time hopefully for a bit longer.

Here are some pictures from the trip.

The older I get, the better I was.
