Exmoor

I went for a ride to Exmoor on Saturdy. I met a biking buddy of mine at Taunton. We ride to Lynmouth and back through South Molton to Tiverton. There are some great roads up there. Most were fairly quiet. It was quite cloudy, but otherwise good conditions for riding.

Thanks Mep. I ride those roads myself, both Exmoor and I went on to watch your Dartmoor ride too. Lovely in the summer but I must admit, I usually only ride across Dartmoor in winter to get to the other side in the straightest line, usually through Princetown and onward to Plymouth.

I will be doing the Whiddon Down to Plymouth ride one day very soon (probably in lashing rain) to have my MOT done. I could have it done closer but the rules permit me to go to where ever I book it in and I always go to the same place where I know I will have a fare test, pass or fail.

Exmoor is a more beautiful ride and better roads for me because the 40mph limit is a bit of a killer on some stretches of Dartmoor.
Without rain, there would be no rainbows.
