I have a Quadlock with the vibration damper mounted for using Google Maps on a spare phone.
(Aliexpress version.. £££'s cheaper but exactly the same). It's been secure on a couple of test runs so far, I just need to find some way of mounting it about a couple of inches farther away so my old eyes can read it clearly.
Yamaha FS1E >Yamaha DT125> Yamaha DT175 > CB400N > Yamaha XJ650 > SV650s > Aprilia SL1000R >> DL 650XT L6 >> DL650 AM3.

I got a lookie likey quadlock type for £7 off Ebay. Exactly the same as the genuine article that my mate just bought for about 7 or 8 times the price.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.
