Europe 2025

I so enjoyed my France trip last year we decided to take in more countries this year.

Got the ferry from Dover to Dunkirk and ventured into Belgium. Stopped at Ypres. Fantastic place. Would definitely go there again. Then back into France (Sedan) for a night. We then ventured into Germany (Merzig) and then came back though France. Stopped at Mulhouse (crap), Verdun, Saint Quentin which were both decent. Last night was in Le Touquet, Cucq which was o.k.

Went through various parts of the Ardennes. The roads though the forests are just fantastic. And the views were stunning.

We booked the first nights digs before we set off and then booked the next days digs the night before using our phones. All though booking.com. Came back on the chunnel which was loads quicker than the ferry. First time using it but won`t be the last.

Nice pictures fella.
Got to love the tunnel. Although I never leave the bikes side, just in case?

Looks like you had a great trip!
Thanks for sharing the info, and the pictures.
The tunnel is excellent, a quick and efficient service, I'm using it myself in September.
Highly recommend the Eifel National Park in Germany, we spend a whole week there, and it's close to beautiful Luxembourg.
