The Cairngorms
« on: June 29, 2025, 09:32:49 »
I've recently come back from an epic Scotland trip and now have a DJI Action Osmo 5 camera which is so much better than my old Drift. First up is ride through the Cairngorms. I can still only seem to have the link displayed.

Thanks Nigel. As for the perception of speed, it's the camera as most look like that with a wide field of view. I don't speed (much), and left out the part when a handful of bikers whizzed past me and soon moved on up the road. The sound is captured by a small microphone in a block of foam under the back of the tank, with the cable just reaching the camera.

Nice vid - of local roads for me  :lala:

The road you were on from Nairn, over the Dava Moor, has been closed for 2 day due to a massive heather fire.
Was out this afternoon and caught site of the fire, several miles east of the Dava . . .
A weekend wasted isn't a wasted weekend

After the success of YouTube links in my other posts I thought I'd try again as we all love a good thumbnail picture, but for some reason it won't work for this one!

Hi Mep, you may have got it already sorted
