Stranded in Prescott, quite a remarkable film.

As per the title really. This gem popped into my feed this morning.

Enjoy.

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Brilliant ! As one of the few (only?) persons to have spent a significant amout of time up a steel electricity tower on this forum, I doff my cap to those early pioneers. I remember as a wide eyed apprentice looking at some of the 'safety' equipment that we had collected over the years in the overhead line bay. From a donkey jacket with a rear lanyard to clip onto a tower, still just secured by 4 large buttons at the front (!) to an original 1930's leather pole strap we had some great stuff. Sadly, the health & safety department confiscated it in case we used it by mistake - as if! Here's a picture of me in circa 1987 about to pull a cable up a 66kV tower at Bebside, Blyth.

But only for 5 more days   Sadly, working only 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) I'm not retiring until the 18th of December - but it's getting closer.
