They say Customers in the UK will not be affected.....hmmm.....I still have a 18 months warranty left on my Gasgas (Gasgas are owned by KTM ), hope I don,t see any problems with that.

They're in a mess alright, huge losses, a slump in product sales & a lack of customer faith in the products - it's a perfect storm. Add in the fact that one of their own brands (CF Moto) is knocking out good quality bikes at a fraction of the price of a KTM, no wonder they're struggling. I do hope they can sort themselves out, but it looks like a big ask.

 :) I honestly don't care.

Peak KTM for me (quite selfishly) was the 1090/1190 platform. They have just the right amount of technology and most importantly they are very well put together. I understand the need for new tech to entice existing owners and new owners to change but the yearly price slashing of existing stocks certainly leaves a sour taste.

The vanity MotoGP farce really hasn't added anything other than a drain on resources.

The 790/890 camshaft denial issues haven't helped the situation for customers or the dealers.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I think MV Agusta and CF Moto are part of the group too...

Heard today that MV are 49% owned by someone else  , KTM have 51%,  ( Russians  I believe ) and  they maybe want to buy back the rest, plus the whole thing is a separate company  from the Pierer  Mobility AG group ( KTM ) . So don't know if that is good or bad ....but hopefully you should be OK  with your MV Dark-Strom .

The front end chatter pod did a bit on KTM in the last one...said the Ebike divisions had lost LOADS of money and NEVER made a profit.
Good for me .. I wondered how I got my well specced Gasgas so cheap.....now is the time to buy if you are thinking of an Ebike.

Yamaha motors....so at least no chocolate cams  .....well.... no cams at all actually .....:lala:
