Today, I did a couple of tip runs with my mate Andrea to clear out her dads house. Another two should do it, but she has to sort through a few things to decide which bits to keep. After that I went home and decided to remove the front & rear dash cam's fitted in the EV9. It took quite a while to dismantle and I got quite cross with myself for doing such a good job of installing them in the first place !

Bought my youngest grandson his first motorsickle today.
He’s had a busy time in hospital lately, but is getting back to normal now.
He turns two tomorrow and loves a ‘Wum-Wum’ 🏍️

Were his first words "How fast will it go Grandad"? I don't usually approve of electric motorbikes but that one is a cracker.  :auto-dirtbike: :thumb:

Up at the crack of midday; stayed up to watch the two 'murican football divisional playoff games (semi finals in English) last night/this morning. I guessed one game right and one wrong (I was very surprised at how good the NE Patriots were) so it's New England V Seattle Seahawks in the final in two weeks time. It will be a very tight game but I think both teams will score a bit, so plenty of action. My tip for Superbowl glory is the Seahawks (so bet on the Patriots...). Another late night beckons...

Thanks to a nearly three week late birthday present from the monster-in-law, I've lashed out and bought a pair of Merlin Calton gloves from Sportsbike Shop. These are the quite rare CE level 2 certified and should offer some serious protection in the event of a tumble. Full report when I've had a chance to use them.

So, no sign of the gloves and it's time to chase Sportsbike shop up to find out what's going on. No stock until the middle of April !!! Bollocks, plan B then...

Finally made it out for the first turns of the season.
The winter adrenaline feed whilst it's too cold for bikes.

Today, we had the mother-in-law back at hospital for a follow up from her raft of cancer operations (3 in 18 months). She's all clear and they will give her an annual check up to be on the safe side, great news.

On another note, our new reg plates turned up 2 days before the new Kia EV5 !

Today is new car day ! We have swapped our monsterous Kia EV9 for a more practical, but still spacious EV5. We have to wait until we get the log book from Swansea before we can fit our private plate to it. Happy days. Our neighbours won't notice as it's the same shape & colour...

Lovely car and beautiful colour. I'm sure that curtains have twitched and the neighbours are green already, wait until the private plate goes on. Congratulations!  :thumb:.

Don't forget you still have a motorbike in the garage  :auto-dirtbike:.
