To make it motorcycle related  :icon_wink: I think it's time we had another ride out to East Kirkby. Perhaps this year?

Plus the Naafi is great there as well.My dad and his brother Roy joined up as soon as they were old enough, dad went on to be an LAC fixing and patching aircraft at RAF Lossiemouth, and Roy went on to be a top gunner in Lancasters until the end of the war,and he never had 1 bad episode in all of his flights, how lucky was that.He was with a gang of Aussies who called him the “Lucky Pommie bastard”,which is the name of a book that my Cousin Don in Oz(a retired university professor)has written about his dads wartime exploits. He was so enamoured about Oz that he took all of his family there to live in the 50s.
