Heidenou K60 scouts ...the rear size shouldn't be a problem but you may have to slightly adjust the front tyre size and mudguard clearance to make it work .

Heidenou's come out wider than normal, id stick with the standard size rear but check your rear swing arm and chain guard clearance.

You do realise they are quite a lump for a 250?

I didn’t know. my wife has a street triple 675 and I’ve got a versys 1000 we want to do the welsh 500
She’s only jut 5 ft and the 250 v strom is the only bike we’ve found that she can touch the ground on tiptoe so everything’s trial and error. at this stage any advice is welcome thanks Nigel

The GW250 is effectively the same bike as the VStrom 250 without the ‘Adventure’ styling and the seat is 20mm lower. I bought one a couple of months ago and am really impressed. Did a 200mile round trip on it last week and stepped off fresh as a daisy. If you look around, you can pick them up cheaply privately. Mine had 25K miles and runs sweet as a nut and I only paid a grand for it! I like it so much I have added several touring bits and bobs to do some trips. Incredible value.

I averaged 82 mpg on my trip last week which was part sitting at 70mph on the A14 and part circa 55 on slower roads. The most remarkable thing about the engine is that you can be doing 25mph in top gear and it will pull cleanly up to top speed. Once you are on the go you rarely have to change gear (on the flat that is). Suspension is decent also.

that's  a lot of mpg . I've found a rear tyre 140/70 17 which is factory size made by kenda don't know if they're any good.  kenda k6327.
