I've got the Montreal 2 and it's a cracking jacket, especially when you bring cost into the equation. The version 3 is supposed to be much improved so it'll be a great jacket folks - enjoy  :thumb:

To my surprise my jacket arrived today via DPD , they must be delivering Sundays to make up time
I only ordered it new year's Day, so, a super quick delivery ..  :lala:

Anyway, for £99 the quality looks good, I'm glad I ordered a size bigger as the jacket seems like it's a slim snug fit.

It's got plenty of pockets and vents and I think there's a built in hood in the collar, it's also very adjustable to help it fit just right however, my only gripe is it's got lots of velcro and velcro wears out quick , especially on the sleeves.

For the money I'm pleased but time will tell,  it'll get used virtually every day. 🤞🤞

I've been very happy with DPD. Good communications,  good tracking, cheerful polite driver who always closes the gate properly. ( We've been catching up on Sundays too, but I only did one. You can have too much of a good thing.)

Indeed, I watched the DPD driver on my door cam while I was out and he did exactly what was asked, and yes , he also closed my gate.

The communication / tracking was brilliant, well impressed ..  :thumb:

Mine was dropped off yesterday by DPD. Drove off just as I got to the front door and he had left the gate open  ### A bit later I got an email to say that it had been left at a random house in the village  ### As for the jacket it looks good and well made. Now all I need is for the gritters to feck off so I can take the bike for an MOT  :auto-dirtbike:

Mine has yet to be delivered... and when it does I bet I ordered the wrong size... and all my size will have been bought by you lot!

Anyone any ideal of sizes on these? I've tried on the more expensive laminated one and needed an xl, I normally wear a 54 dainese. No bike shops open here to try anything on!

They are a slim fit,I got mine earlier last year and had to get a couple of sizes larger than my usual to fit comfortably.Although I went to the shop on the bike and with bike kit on and tried a few on to get the correct size, plus I paid a lot more than £99.😢🤦‍♂️

Mine came today- respect to the shop & courier. Re the sizing- my previous (RSR) jacket was XL, so went with this size again. It's a bit snugger, not enough for me to swap it for the next size up, but you may like to consider going one size larger if you are towards the upper end of your size range (and/ or ate too many mince pies lately and/ or let your gym membership lapse....)

Rejoice mine arrived today.

I wasn't sure what to expect until Sunday when I looked at what drunken me had ordered.

I did order my correct size L, it's in a rather fetching "desert" design. It has lots of vents, decent sized pockets, loads of adjustments and a pocket to accept my back protector.

The sleeves are a bit on the long side, better than too short.

Thank you Tony.

(Luckily I didn't hit "buy it now" on the 950 Supermoto)
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Used it today ...

If I'm being honest, now that I've ridden my bike, the size I ordered *large* is a little big for me but that's OK because at a mere 1deg this morning at 7am, I wasn't freezing but I could have benefited with another layer added my thermal underwear, a t-shirt and a jumper and yes, the sleeves are a little long.

My daily ride is a 25mile round trip on city roads so I don't get a over 40mph much so I say on motorways at constant speed another layer would be essential, maybe a proof over jacket.

Anyway It's a £99 jacket so I won't complain too much ...  :thumb:

Aye, with hindsight my post aged badly!  The jackets will still look like new though...

As my jacket has not yet arrived... I called them just now and was advised that they do not dispatch part orders and the tool kit I also ordered has a 3 week backorder on it. They cancelled my toolkit order immediately and I should get my jacket tomorrow which will inevitably be the wrong size .

Fabulous service from Sportsbikeshop though, really helpful as mentioned lots elsewhere in this forum.

My jacket came today, another excellent service from Sportsbikeshop. I've just sent it back. The rear RHS vent zip was jammed closed. Other than that the jacket seemed good and I nearly kept it but as I was 50/50 to start with I have asked for a refund.

I didn't check any vents, all the packaging went in the re-cycle bin.....

If I'm still alive I'll find out in the summer.

WARNING
Sorry people, only just seen this. I have a montreal 3.0 in my wardrobe, and that's where it will stay. had it for just over a year. I don't want to pee on amybodies bonfire but it was awful. they should have just left the sleaves on the factory floor as they let so much water in when it rained I could feel it running down my arms and parts of the main jacket let it through as well, I had to buy a waterproof over jacket just to stay dry, BUT it is a very warm jacket.
I now have the Mondial and so far the only thing I'm not too happy with is the length of the jacket itself, it even has extra velco on the cuffs so as to allow "inies" AND "outies" (gloves that is).
