Metzeler tourance next

I changed from standard Tourance to Tourance Next on my 1150GS. Definitely better in the dry and the wear rate was good, but for me on the BMW, they were definitely noisier, and felt less confidence inspiring if it was really wet. Every tyre is a compromise and on the Strom I will stay with the Tourance all the while I can get them.

Tyres arrived final went for the bridgestone BT 023 sport tourer
Reason been I never go off road , I do lots of touring and ride like a sports bike hopefully they will be spot on for my riding
Also £165 for the pair  delivered the next day from stickytyres.com great service
Any way wheels are off tyres are off just waiting for my new 90 degree valve stems which I ordered way before my tyres best come next week so I can get back together I use for work every day I can weather permitted and can't wait to put them to the test 
Really please they needed replacing as once they were removed and I inspected the rear I found a nail in it that had gone through bloody lucky
Will up date once I have them on and scrubbed in

Can't beat the BT-023 for road riding especially now they are the budget option from Bridgestone, and last better than the newer T31 for marginally less wet grip.

Have had 2 sets on SWMBO's GSX1400, lasts around 4.5k on the rear of the muscle bike... so not bad.
I like to give it some when I steal her bike and the tyres do grip well.
Grip wise it's excellent wet or dry.

Brigdestone BT 023 sport touring Tyres fitted today going to re check pressure in morning set at 36 front 40 rear
And then  go and scrub in just to make sure everything is as it should be ready for my ride to work monday
Will up date my thoughts on tyres after a weeks riding to work which is a total of 300 miles for the week should be a good test

A week in to the bridgestone BT -023 wow what a tyre
Monday got up and it was raining all the way to work 30 miles on country Roads in the rain on new tyres however wow they were planted give me loads of grip
Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday, Friday sunny and  they have been fantastic and  fanny lines/ chicken strips have nearly gone  already an other week and they will be gone
If your never going off road with your bike go for the bridgestone bt-023 sport tourer what a budget tyre from bridgestone I got the set from stickytyre.Com for £165 and free delivery
Came the next day after order
Just need to see what mileage I can get out of them

I got 11,500 miles out of my last rear. True it was slightly squared off when I changed it but still had legal tread. The front is still OK at 12,000

3 weeks in and 1000 miles  on my new tyres wow they are great they have great shape to them and all the edges are well used and still look as good as new
I would highly recommend bridgestone BT -023 sport touring tyres @ £165 for the pair
I will up date this post next with total mileage and photos
