Sidi's are great. I have a pair of Gavia Gorex, also a number higher (49/14) than I would normally choose. I am very happy about these. Comfortable, easy to take on and off...

Are these Sidi goretex boots really waterproof? just looking at my old boots, I have 2 pairs of Sidi, not sure which model they were, one is an old model touring boot which says 'Goretex' on the side but they were not waterproof, OK in a shower but heavy rain forget it, I used to use Oxford rainseal overboots.
it would be great if the new Sidi adventure were really waterproof and if not how do you pursue the guarantee? thanks.

Usually you need to return the boots to where you purchased them from with proof of purchase for them to send back to the manufacturer. If you can't do that (e.g. shop closed) I would try either Sidi or Goretex direct. They should be waterproof.
