SportsBikeShop Milton Keynes
« on: June 22, 2019, 12:55:11 »
After receiving a gift card for SportsBikeShop.co.uk and needing a new pair of gloves, I decided to visit their Milton Keynes branch. I had planned a nice twisty route from East London through North Hertfordshire, a loop around Huntingdon, Bedfordshire and finally Milton Keynes.
That was the plan but my phone, which I use as a SatNav, decided to start playing up so I got completely lost. One good thing when this happens is that you just go down any road and hope for the best.... and I found some even better roads with no cars at all  :) :) :) :)

After finally arriving, I parked next to a yellow Veek and immediately got chatting to its owner and fellow forum member John. We must have spent well over an hour chatting about all things VStrom and much more.... he almost convinced me then and there to change from my Glee to a Veek!!

Finally got the new gloves and after a more direct route back, I got home 9 hours after leaving East London to a wife that I had only told "I'm going to buy some new gloves".... she was not impressed at all  ### ###

Despite the ear bashing I got it was a good day and great to meet up with another forum member.

A couple of pics but no idea where I was apart from somewhere near Huntingdon

But which gloves did you buy?

I like buying gloves. :)
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I bought a pair of Rev'it Dirt 3's

Wanted a nice new pair of summer gloves, especially as I'm planning a trip to Italy to visit family at the end of August  :sunny:

From the 100 or so miles I've ridden with them so far, I'm very happy
