I did mine here many moons ago. The bloke is an Ex-police motorcyclist. Bikes were good and he was very patient.

Best of luck :-)

Mike Williams based in Bolton.

Very good and very patient.

Google him and get his number or let me know and I'll dig it out.

Riverview is excellent, based in hesketh bank, between preston and southport. Did my direct access over a period of a day and a half this year in feb. Very easy to get on with, thorough training, and they were prepared to take me out early on my test day to ensure I had plenty of practice. They have a 94% first time pass rate (or near that) and I really recommend them.

Cheers
Chris

I used Riverview for my first attempt at my CBT, they left me alone and even when I wheelied the bike into the hedge, and fell off, the old bloke ran out that ran back in again to turn his taps off    before he helped me up,  Same again when I rode the bike straight into the hedge,   I had become a bit fixated on the hedge in front of the greenhouses    at the end of the day this bloke told me I'd been riding the clutch ?? not sure what I was doing but it was all wrong, When I crashed the bike I broke the clutch lever,  obviously I wasn't fit to go out on the road, I went back for day 2..again they were leaving me on my own, they brought the bike out still with a broken clutch lever so getting clutch control was difficult, and it was piddling down so I threw the towel in and went home

I went there cus Hubby passed with them and loved them thought they were brilliant

What I need is someone who is a bit bossy & nags but not too much , doesn't leave me on my own , and has no hedges for me to try and jump  :GRR:

North East Wales eh?? The only question I have is, are you avaliable to play out most Saturdays and occasional Sundays??

Because I ride out with a group called Northwest Bikers and we either meet at the Little chef or the BP at Pontybodkin. http://groups.msn.com/NorthwestBikers/b ... l_topics=1

You're purrfectly placed to join us on out play days

Long range forecast is .... let's just says 'hopeful' for now, and being my last weekend in the UK until November I want to get out and make sure the battery on the T-Strom is fully charged *cough*
So get yourself registered and keep an eye out, the same for anyone who enjoys playing in the North of Wales and occasional trips around Hawes, I'm out anyway so the more the merrier as always
