New Bike test

It seems the new test centres are not ready and so the current (old) test will still be in place for 6 months

It appears (according to MCN) that all these changes are EU-led, so it's all for 2mph as some of the manouvres have to be done at 50k (32mph), so can't be done on most city streets.
No bike at present.......

Not enough off-road sites are ready for the new test.  The industry have been lobbying to have it deferred for ages.  This was the DSA's announcement (nothing like leaving it 'til the last minute, eh)...

This was the MCIA bleating on about it back in May...

The test itself doesn't sound like much fun, but it's already in place in Europe.  The problem is that the change-over's been so badly implemented in this country - as you might expect.

Now we've got 'til March to get it right.
