What's the accepted wisdom on the GIpro?

(If you're going "huh?" it's a gear indicator  - http://www.gi-pro.net/)

I'm always reaching for seventh gear when I'm just bumbling about and figured this might help.

Anyone fitted one?  Does it change instantly?  Any problems?  Worth the money?

I have one fitted, like it very much. They are available on ebay - see general discussions restrictions..... On the DL650 they change instantly as they are tied in with the vstroms own gear indicator and don't need to work it out.

Yup, that was pretty easy.  Bought a bracket so I've fitted mine on the bars close to the left grip.  Can whip up some pics if needed.

Haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but banging up through the 'box with the bike on the stand shows it updates the display immediately and always gets it right.

Should stop me looking for gears I don't have now...  :shy:
