Rivi Barn today
« on: August 31, 2008, 13:09:10 »
Went for a quick blast there this mornig with the lad before the MotoGP started on the TV!

Saw 3 other V-Stroms there, all 07 1000's plus a very clean KLV with Akro's fitted....

Anyone from off here up there?

Hi Andyberg.

Wasn't me but I do go there on my 650. Only live down the road from the Barn.

Perhaps organise a ride-out somewhere with any other local (ish) stromers ???
Whilst looking for the tree on the bend.... I hit a bloody pothole !!!

Had a good  run out yesterday ..

Went from Preston to Hawes via Gisburn then Ribblesdale where we stopped for a brew, then thro to Devils Bridge via Sedburgh..(These are superb roads and not a policeman in sight, altho it was 8.30in the morn!!).

Ended up coming back via the Trough of Bowland, taking in the 'skiJump' (near the coffee/burgervan at the Trough)

Ideal to meet up at the Tickled Trout services J30 M6 (which could be an idea start for a runout) and end at Rivi in time for lunch and a look round!!

He can attend on his sports bike but we take exception at having to stop every 30 mins so he can fill up with fuel.

If he can combine it with his 100 mile back stretch we'd be most appreciative   lol

I'll ask him if he can manage that  ;) though he is having Physio for te bad back at the mo, maybe he'd be able to manage 110 by the time something is organised
