Wee Service Bristol
« on: June 04, 2013, 13:09:55 »
Hi All,

I need to get my Wee serviced, I want the air filter, plugs etc. I tried to take the fairing off to get the fuel tank out but got stuck.

Basically does anyone no anyone in bristol that's not Fowlers that is a good mechanic. I don't fancy a YTS pulling my bike apart and cross threading all the screws...

Just done it myself, what part are you stuck with. I had to drill out both top fixings on the fairing but if you can unscrew all the fixings OK you won't have a problem and if you have the toll kit with the plug spanner in it you are laughing.

The thing is I tried a while ago to strip the fearing off to get a part that I dropped, however I couldn't get that much of it off, and I couldn't see a way of getting that tank off. I guess I am just nervous about screwing up the fairing....

I'm based in port talbot. if you get problems PM me and I'll send you my number. or get the bits you require and we can arrange a meeting and I'll walk you through a service.

I've not long done a few services for blokes on the deauville owmers forum, and promised Milz I'd do his next service.
I'be done about 20 services on my strom and quite a few on other bikes so I kind of know what I'm doing.
