To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

What people forget is,”Black Country”people are so well educated that they understand their own dialect and also every other dialect in the British Isles, the only thing that takes a lot of understanding from my point of view being a “Black Country”lad, is why “Yorkshire folks”have such deep pockets.🤓
Is it something they inherit or is it taught in schools from an early age.🤔

So does that mean you agree that tv programes centred in and about the black country would promote respect and regard for a, hither too, ignored part of  the UK?

Tonight I settled down to watch BSB Snetterton races on Quest. OK for 20 seconds and then it switched to that bloke dealing with cars and that nice Ed China. QUEST YOU HAVE LET ME DOWN AGAIN :dl_soapbox:

£3.15p for an ice cream.......in fact some idiot bought two, £6. effin 30p for two ice creams!! It said £2.50p on the board but because we chose to have a waffle cone that was 65p extra! 65p extra for a bloody waffle cone!

Apologies to the Yorkshire members who (quite rightly) will be aghast at such disregard for money.

One litre tub of 'Carte Dor Chocolate ice cream' is £3.50 in Morrisons.
Take a couple of plastic spoons with you and you're good for a chilly treat at half the price.
A few paper cups and there's enough for six.

PS can I come?

I highly recommend Mr Moos at Skipsea. Large servings, numerous flavours and yorkshire(ish) prices.
The road over there from Wetwang chippie is pretty good too ;)
