Be warned, this picture is not at all suitable for a public forum. Or a private one. Anyway, it's art.
It was only here due to its relevance to FR's graphic beak simile.

Everytime someone asks a serious question on the GSX owner page it end up as a cock measuring contest.

Todays bollocks relates to a nice chap who has an adventure bike and now a GSX1400 who asking quite seriously for recommendations for luggage and tweaks to get the bike set up for touring.
Asking for best luggage available and any other bits that increase levels of comfort on an already fairly comfy bike.

Everyone responds along the line of:

"I've done 1,000,000miles in a day across some of the least interesting of Europe's  straight highways and did it fine with no back problems 'cos I'm 'ard see."
Then adding pictures of their bikes loaded up in petrol stations with no related information to the questions asked.

that's why I hate Facebook! Its full of ar$€#0l€$

The stuff talked about here may well be a bit mad at time, but it helps with the book I'm writing about metal instability in the modern male.

To eBay bike sellers: can you be arsed to put up full side-on photos of both sides of the freaking bike please. So we can, you know, see what the freaking thing looks like. Thanks.

That's better. Lovely.
I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that

True. But stick with it as once you have it sorted in your head on how it works, it is a great program  :thumb:

Martin, once you've mastered Basecamp, and started following your route - and then want/need to skip a bit out; how do you stop the Garmin (590) from tying to take you back to the bit that you skipped?

An oldie but a goodie, In Sewer Ant ****ers.

Renual from Bikesure 240 quid.
Small print : "We'll take it off your credit card, ring us if you don't like it, only 33p a minute while you are on hold  :bawl: "

So:

Email their general enquiry people to stop renual
Go compare to find they quote £190.  :groan:
Accept and fill in form telling them to go talk to themselves  :dl_smiley_banghead:

You just know they are going to query their own internal communication   :icon_batterup:

If only we had REGO instead of this state sponsored mugging.

Instead of ringing the number try a website called www.saynoto0870.com,
You can enter either the company name or enter a phone number, even works with 09 numbers.
It gives you possible alternative phone numbers.
Life is short - You have to enjoy it on a Wee-Strom!

Andy - I'm assuming you mean you have put a route in Basecamp and loaded it through Trip Planner and are actually on the ride?

If so, try the back arrow, Apps, Trip Planner.
You should see "Active Trip" at the top of the list, so choose that.
All the way points come up, click the one you want to bypass.
Click "Remove Location" and "Yes"
Click "Go"
Click your next destination.

There might be an easier way

I never found it. I swear the day I finally flip and end up eating all my meals through a straw while studying the padded wall paper will begin with that dozy yankee tart banging on about "Off rout, make a ewe turn". I think its a secret CIA project.

My 14 quid phone app doesn't do this  :stirpot:

I very much appreciate your trying to help, thank you.

I would like to take Mr Garmin on one of my trips and then he would know how to make his device idiot proof

You should see a list of them???

Maybe your 590 works differently to my 340LM?
