My first bracket which took blummin ages to make, pffffffftttttt, was an approx 3mm thick aluminium affair which had to be both bent and twisted. It was real fun. But what else do you do on a wet Sunday.
The instructions do state that sound output may be affected if non oem or Denali brackets are used.
The Denali are just thin steel which is easy to bend etc.
After failing to fathom the problem out and not wishing to throw it up the street I had my daily scrub down, and that's when it come to me, horns vibrate.
If the bracket is too rigid will that not allow the vibration to take place. Denali provide two plates so you can triangulate etc, but I just used the two side by side and bolted them back on.
Bingo, winner, winner, chicken dinner.
The bracket was too rigid all along.
I have fitted them before using my own bracketery (is that a word) with no issues, but this time it was obviously way too stiff.
Oooooh eeeeerrrrr missus.
Well done fella, don't forget your bank details.
