Tendonitis - piggin' painful and I've had it for 6 months now. Quite fed up with it and it's right where my achilles tendon joins the heel. Physio hasn't helped, private treatment by Chiropractor hasn't helped & painkillers don't really help either. Well pissed off with the situation now...

I renewed my Home insurance this morning. I had to pay £20 more than the figure I was quoted last week.  The price rose when I told them my son moved out in the summer and I now live on my own. They said this is because when I go "out" there is more chance that no one is "in" and this increases some risks in the event of theft,or damage through fire or burst pipes etc. Good job I told them he left as that fact may have invalidated my insurance.
On looking back I see the price is now more than double what it was in 2017.  ### ### ###

Bloody forecourt car vacuums. My Mrs. nipped to Sainsburys filling station to vsc the car out. Not only has the kiosk shut and gone pay at pump only, but the vac is coin-free contactless card only. Grumbling, she drove to Morrisons. Their vac is the same. Not everyone has or wants a contactless card. It's all getting a bit silly.

cash is quickly dying out.

I took a £20 note to Snowdonia, came back with it, it was just easier to pay by card. - the site shop and cafe/bar didn't take cash.

I find my wallet is usually cashless. It starts off with cash but a small house elf tends to help herself when I'm not looking...

Had a few days away last week at Tattershall Lakes with Deb, the daughter, son in law & the grandson. I took £100 cash with me just for the 'little extras' but ended up paying for everything by card, even the ice creams!!
Came back with the £100 cash.....but not to worry it'll be used for the next four weeks Friday drinking club kitty.  We still use cash for that!  :thumb:
Oh & regarding any elf helping themselves to it ...... it's not in my wallet anymore, it's in my 'safe place'.  :icon_wink:

There's too much moaning on here, so here's a positive post.

I've had enough of this tittle tattle. I'm off to watch Moto GP riders charging round a circuit!

From pole position? Watts the next race? not too violent, or will be charged with assault and battery.
