I have a Vango Milano 3, it's 3 man tent with a porch and is the one I use for going away for more than just a weekend. The extra space on longer stays is great, the porch is lovely to put all your gear and panniers and stuff in. It's one of those you can put up the outer first if it's raining. The groundsheet is attached to the inner sleeping dome thing and that then attaches to the outer. One nice feature is that you can leave it all attached to make putting it up and taking it down quicker. It uses 3 poles and packs up small enough to go on the be bike. It's also the one I would use if my wife goes along as she wouldn't sleep in my smaller tent.
The smaller tent is an Easy Camp Shadow 200, superb cheap 2 man tent. I wouldn't sleep 2 people in it though, I like my space, it's perfect for one person + bike kit and has a little porch too. Also one that goes up outer first in the rain and the inner dome and groundsheet is also together. I leave them all assembled, goes up and down in a jiffy. Uses 2 poles of the same lenght and doesn't even need ropes unless the wind is terrible (very stable with just the pegs.) Packs up nice and small and weighs 3.7kg (I think?) If he's looking for another brand to stock then Easy Camp might be worth a look.
If he's stocking Vango, they make a little stove that is ace, it's called the Vango Folding Gas Stove.
Here's a link to a page with a pic and details. Can't do much better for £20 than that

If I was going to start a business like that I would read some bike mags that often do reviews on kit like the things he is planning to sell. It should give him a good idea of what people would be looking for. Adventure Bike Rider and Motorcycle Monthly comes to mind. ABR digital subscription is £20 or so and you can read all the back issues. MCM is free to read online and you can read a lot of back issues too. Another mag that do reviews that I might trust a bit is Ride.
