Craig, the panniers are handy but I only put mine on when I really need them otherwise the prevent filtering and going through traffic can take as long as being in a car. A good size top box is better. JMHO.  :thumb:

Motorbike wheels don't need to be black!

My red VFR750 had white wheels and looked great. The new owner had them done gold, although it still looks good I still prefer the white. Gold wheels on a black bike looks great though.  :thumb:

Yeah I like them too. Much better than boring black, especially on that bike

Hi again blokes .

Replaced the old faithful for a 2022 1050XT . Had slightly over 10.000 km when I bought it from the dealership.
She definitely is on the taller side for me. Since the purchase I covered 8.000 km . Couple weeks ago dropped it while taking her off the centre stand , and uhm.. Got some cosmetic damage...The windscreen  got scratched, the right mirror support broke, the right hand guard , scratched on the exhaust and a scratch in the crash bar.  The insurance approved the damages, and I've been trying to find the parts online to order them myself but it seems like a Pandora's box for me .
I can say I've been quite happy with my impulsive purchase . What I've noticed that it's slightly getting the same rattling noise from the clutch when in neutral , like on my old 2004 model. Don't know if it's just me or has anyone else experienced this issue?
In general I'm quite happy ,and done a couple of 1.000 km trips in Norway .
Although I'm not really happy with the quality of the paint . I have 3 tiny dots on the side of the the fuel tank where it chipped away.(possibly the pants I wear my have some fault to this, not entirely sure )

Lovely bike and great choice of colour!

Regarding the rattle, yes that’s normal. My 1050 has now covered nearly 8k miles and has started to rattle a little at idle… I try my best to never sit at idle, that’s one solution. Joking aside, it seems normal so I ignore it. Once I’ve covered 40k I might disassemble and try the fix, but as it’s doing no harm I shall let sleeping dogs lie.

Safe riding, hopefully no more drops  :icon_wink:

A recent addition to my collection, I know it's not fast white but will do for now.
