Have a look at my hole!

Well not my hole exactly but right by my house. Would have you off. Have reported it on Fix My street https://www.fixmystreet.com/ and got a confirmation from Norfolk Council that they'd received the report. I'm sure they'll be springing into action anytime now.....

I really didn't want to look. I risked one eye first. Phew.
Glad to see the council are looking into it.

Plenty of those round near me, they come out and pack cold tar in the hole, don't even bother cleaning the hole or sweeping all the loose tarmac up, 6 months later the hole is back. Useless they are, cheapest hole fixers they can find.

Doncaster Carncil were out last week repairing pavements near us. The solution to roots growing through is to bash the offending root with a shovel and than dump some asphalt straight on top and stamp for a couple of times.

It's also imperative to totally ignore the potholes less than 18" away on the actual road.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
