Looking for DL1000 A 2018 standard exhaust
« on: April 26, 2025, 08:15:31 »
Hi, I bought a used 2018 V-Strom in 2023, which has an after-market exhaust which has to be plugged into the diagnostic port on the something under the seat (sorry, not technical).  This is a pain in the neck, as it means my dash is in constant diagnostic setting.  Does anyone have a standard exhaust they would like to exchange / sell?

When you say aftermarket do you mean full exhaust including headers or just a slip on?
The only thing needed  to be plugged in is MAYBE a dynojet controller to alter the fuelling or an exhaust flap delete if a full system ?
If you are in diagnostic mode that could explain your problem.
Have a look at this for info and follow the link in the last post . For the earlier bike but someone on here will help if different.

I've got a standered back box off a 16 plate if that's any good
