Yesterday was a trip to Thetford Forest and a 10.5 mile loop around the blue route. The forest is starting to going through the autumn colours and was looking lovely. Shame I didn't have time to try the red route but the weather wasn't the best so gave it a miss.
Today, I thought about going back to Thetford Forest to try the red route but decided to spend the 45min driving time to wash the car - first time it's been washed since the local hosepipe ban came in c. April... It was pretty disgusting

. After that, decided to do a quick loop near where I'm staying, so covered 12 miles on local lanes. Would have been better on the road bike, but the hardtail did well. Came across a memorial to the 447th Bomb Group based at Rattlesden Airfield so stopped for a quick photo.
